There’s a lot of songs about being bored and homesick while out on tour, but this is my favorite that engages with the specifics of promoting an album in the modern record industry. And this was released in 1997! Imagine how much depressing and deadpan this would be if this was written to reflect all the horrible hoops artists much jump through for attention these days.
